Understanding the “swing” action used in swing dances like Waltz is one thing. Actually doing that action well is another.

This 45-minute workshop goes through a series of easy exercises you do on your own to help the body learn and get comfortable with the actions involved in swing dances. We start the workshop sitting on a chair, then move to standing versions of the same actions, then we progress to actually applying these actions while moving through natural and reverse turns.
