Rumba has several unique characteristics that give it such a dramatic quality despite the relatively slow speed of the dance. One of these is the Rumba Walk.

Rumba is full of Rumba Walks. From forward and back walks to Kiki Walks and various delayed walk actions, most Rumba step patterns are made up of Rumba Walks in a variety of forms.
