Breathing. We do it all the time and usually notice pretty quickly if, for some reason, we can’t. Yet when people social dance they often forget all about breathing.

Breathing is often talked about for activities like Yoga, but almost never talked about when it comes to ballroom dancing. That's a shame, because it's a vitally important part of making us dance smoothly and look good while dancing. This workshop looks at how we breathe and how to apply breathing to a variety of ballroom dances and different step patterns. You'll gain a framework for understanding how you can apply the information to your practice sessions for better, more natural dancing.

The couple twice achieved a top-3 Canadian ranking in Senior Latin as well as a 3rd place Canadian ranking in 30+ Ten Dance. Today, George and Wendy are professional teachers with a vision of growing a strong dance community in Delta near Vancouver, BC.
