In this workshop, we go over some basic technical details that will help your Rumba look much stronger.

Many social dancers dance their Rumba with a weak, hesitant approach that lacks power and confidence. A few technical details can dramatically improve the look of your Rumba. This workshop takes a look at some of those details, then provides a short practice routine you can use to apply them. Recorded during a Kinvillage Intermediate group class.

The routine:
Cucarachas
Cuban Rock
Fan and Hockey Stick
Progressive Walks
Natural Top
Opening Out Side to Side
Closed Hip Twist to modified Fan
New York
Underarm Turn
Basics with Rotation
