Online registration closes at 8:00pm the night before. If you miss the window, just show up! Registration isn’t required. Click on the event to see class details and order your tickets. Choose RSVP/Going if you plan to pay at the studio.

What does 1A or 2A mean? We divide our Intermediate programs into 2 parts of 2 lessons each, an A group and a B group, roughly 6 months apart. When you complete both A and B segments, you’ve learned all the figures covered in that dance.

Beginner Latin

Jive is a fun, energetic dance that originated in America. At the basic level, most of the figures are identical between Jive and East Coast Swing, just with different names. The figures used in this program apply to both styles, so you are learning two dances for the price of one! You’ll find these dances used anywhere people dance and at retro parties. We start a two-week Jive/Swing program with Single Rhythm timing, making it easy to learn the step patterns. At the end of the program we show you how to apply the triple-rhythm timing that is commonly used.
