Online registration closes at 8:00pm the night before. If you miss the window, just come to the class as registration is a convenience, not a requirement. Click on the event to see class details and order your tickets. Choose RSVP if you plan to pay when you get there, such as using a debit card or your Delta Dance punch card.
Samba 2A
We cover Samba, the sexy Latin dance from Brazil, over a two-week sequence divided into two separate calendar groups. In the A block we go over some figures. When the dance comes around again in a few weeks we’ll go over more figures in the B block, to give you a solid understanding of this great Latin dance. Because of the complexity of lead and follow in this dance, we teach it as a routine. The program starts by covering the five basic Samba actions. The routine applies those in various ways, along with Bronze, Silver and even some Gold figures to take you all the way around the floor.
