In this 30-minute workshop, filmed during a group class, we go into detail on proper technique for the Bota Fogo in Samba.

The Bota Fogo is one of the five basic patterns in Samba, and one that is frequently misunderstood and danced poorly. We go into the alignments and leg actions that will dramatically improve the look of your dancing. The video covers:

  • Forward Bota Fogos
  • Backward Bota Fogos
  • Shadow Bota Fogos
  • Criss Cross Bota Fogos
