Unsure about whether you want to do the full program, or unable to commit to a full 12 week program? No problem! Just drop in and take any classes you need on an individual basis. In fact, you can even watch the beginner class at no cost if you just want to see what it’s like (must remain seated). Drop-in fee is $25 per person per class.
Beginner and Intermediate classes happen every Saturday.
Level 1 classes run from 10:00-11:30AM.
Intermediate classes take place 11:30AM-12:30PM.
Classes take place at Kennedy Hall, 8870 120th Street in Surrey (just north of Nordel Way)
45-minute private lessons are ideal for people who want to accelerate their learning progress. You get the entire session focused on you and your needs. The lesson includes up to two students, but additional people can be added for an extra fee. For single students, the teacher will dance with the student as their partner.
These are available in two options: single instructor $90 plus GST, or dual instructors $120 plus GST. Some people prefer the dual instructor option as it allows George to focus on the man’s technique and Wendy to focus on the lady’s technique at the same time. This also allows one instructor to view details that might not be noticeable when a solo teacher is dancing with a student, such as whether they are closing their feet properly or doing heel turns.
Multiple scheduling options
We have multiple ways to reward students for group class attendance. Sign up online for each class you attend for a chance to win our randomly selected quarterly door prize. In addition, just hand in your completed punch cards to rack up points for discounts on future cards. The more you attend, the more you save. Gold members receive a 10% discount on future cards, and Platinum members receive a 20% discount!
Delta Dance exists to motivate, encourage and support ballroom dancing, primarily serving the communities of Delta, Surrey, Langley, New Westminster, Richmond and Burnaby. Ballroom dance group classes, private lessons and Wedding First Dance choreography and lessons. Classes are taught by professional dance instructors George and Wendy Pytlik, 7-time undefeated BC Senior Latin champions and ranked among Canada's top three competitive 10-Dance ballroom dance couples.
