Online registration closes at 8:00pm the night before. If you miss the window, just come to the class as registration is a convenience, not a requirement. Click on the event to see class details and order your tickets. Choose RSVP if you plan to pay when you get there, such as using a debit card or your Delta Dance punch card.
Paso Doble 4
We cover the dramatic, expressive Paso Doble over a four-week time period. This Spanish dance actually originated in France, so it has French names for many of the figures. It is usually danced to the music of Spanish Gypsy Dance, or Espana Cani. We start from the beginning, so the class is suitable for those who have never danced it before. We just expect some basic understanding of partner dancing. To make it as easy as possible for everyone, we put the figures together into a routine that you can dance around the floor. The routine includes most of the bronze figures, as well as some silver and a couple of gold figures. It’s a fairly easy dance to learn, but if this is your first time through the course you may not remember all the figures. That’s fine, because we show you how you can join back to the beginning at various places throughout the routine.
