Intermediate Quickstep 1
We explore the Quickstep from the start in this series, with basic Chasses and Lock Steps, as well as ways to turn a corner, before moving on to more complex step patterns. Most people think the Quickstep is fast, because of the fast-paced music and the word “quick” in the name. But every dance has fast and slow steps and when you focus on the slows with the right technique it looks and feels easy, elegant and beautiful. Over a four-week schedule, this program covers all Bronze figures as well as several Silver and Gold figures.
