George's Thoughts: In 1938, Benny Goodman did this incredible 12-minute variation of the popular hit "Sing, Sing, Sing" in Carnegie Hall. He called it "Sing Sing Sing (With a Swing)" and it was sensational. Very similar to the hit dancers the world over have learned to love, but has a distinctive touch. Goodman's version measured a tempo of just over 53bpm making it a little too fast for dancing, but this version from the movie "Swing Kids" is perfect (and much shorter).
