George's Thoughts: A totally delicious piece rich with a combination of Latin and American Standard Jazz . Laura Fygi (pronounced FeeGee) has a smooth silky voice reminiscent of Ella Fitzgerald. Very sexy lyrics, well suited to the cheeky nature of Cha Cha Cha. Quite different in its style from most Cha Cha selections. I have not heard the original version so I don't know how it compares in tempo to the 31bpm time of the version on "The Ultimate Latin Album 4" which are adjusted to suit dance speed. In my view, it lacks some of the energy that makes a great Cha Cha.
