George's Thoughts: One of my favorite Samba songs. Delightfully romantic, with lots of bounce and a playful attitude that fits the dance so well. Nicely layered vocal treatment that gives it a Mardi Gras feeling. It was originally a very fast Bosa Nova tune by Paul Anka. I think it works much better slowed down to match today's Samba beat count, and the Dancelife artists have done an excellent job with it.
