We’re excited to announce the 2019 West Coast Dance Cruise! We’ll set sail June 10, 2019 from Vancouver to Alaska and back on Cunard’s luxurious and newly refurbished Queen Elizabeth. It’s the first year Cunard has ever offered this remarkable cruise, so it’s a special opportunity to take advantage of the only cruise line that has a decent sized dance floor.

The Queen Elizabeth undertook a refit from November 14-30. She emerged from her 16-day dry dock in Brest, France, refreshed and ready for her exciting 2019 itineraries. All staterooms have been enhanced. The Royal Arcade has been redesigned to provide a more contemporary, immersive retail experience, and an exciting new wellness and beauty offering is now being offered on board. This means your cruise will be even more magnificent than ever!

The itinerary covers 10 spectacular days. You’ll sail out of Vancouver, British Columbia at 5pm on June 10.

We’ll offer several valuable dance workshops when we’re at sea, and you can dance the night away on the good-sized dance floor every evening, to a live band. You’ll sail the Inside Passage to the port of Ketchikan, Alaska. After Ketchikan, you’ll visit the breathtaking Tracy Arm, followed by stops in Juneau and Skagway, Alaska. You’ll see Icy Strait and the incredible Hubbard Glacier and stop in the village of Sitka, Alaska before returning to Vancouver.

Visit Alaska’s first city of tiny Ketchikan and today’s capital, Juneau, for some glacier flightseeing or kayaking amidst the stunning Alaskan landscape. Stop off at Icy Strait Point, where whales may be spotted from ashore and the hidden port of Sitka to discover Alaska’s oldest National Park. Visit gold-rush towns like Skagway, Gateway to the Klondike, before experiencing Victoria’s unique blend of historic charm and contemporary charisma, on return to Vancouver.

The iconic ships of the Cunard Line have been setting the standard when it comes to sophisticated ocean travel. Renowned for their White Star service, you can step back into the Golden Age of cruising as you sail away to captivating ports of call. Cruising with Cunard is a magnificent affair, the height of class, with formal nights set up as formal balls instead of simple dinner events that you get with other cruise lines.

Discover Cunard’s exciting new Alaska itinerary with six charming ports to explore, all from the comfort of elegant Queen Elizabeth. Feast your eyes on towering glaciers and ice fields, native wildlife and national parks with full days in port. You might even catch sight of magnificent humpback whales or Orcas enjoying the cool Alaskan waters. Or sit back, relax and absorb stunning views on deck or from your own private balcony. And of course, lots of opportunities to dance, with helpful insights provided by your hosts George and Wendy.

Workshops

We will be offering four powerful workshops to improve your dancing on each of the “sea” days when we are not in a port of call. Designed for social or competetive dancers, these workshops will give you insight into technique and how to dance more efficiently so that you look better no matter who you are dancing with.

Only those who book with our group will be able to take part in the workshops. Your benefits of being a member of the Delta Dance group includes the workshops and, with enough participants, a special cocktail reception. If you book elsewhere you will not have access to the workshops or the reception. You will not be permitted into the workshops unless you are part of the group. That is the benefit of being in the group. If you have already booked passage on this cruise elsewhere, please contact us to discuss how you might be able to become part of this group.

Variety of Fares

Cunard is a premium line and this is a 10-day cruise as compared to many Alaska cruises that are only 7 days, so rates may be higher than you are used to.

A very limited number of spaces are available, so don’t delay! To get started, contact Doris Bauer at Expedia Cruise Ship Centre or by calling toll free 1-855-946-7444.
