With the Delta dance community growing steadily, George and Wendy are adding two new dance styles to the Delta programs: pole dancing for the ladies and Chippendale training for the men.

Wendy is spearheading the pole dance training, citing the many health benefits and growing acceptance of this dance form. When people hear about fitness and the health benefits of different forms of workouts, they seldom think about pole dancing as a viable option. But pole dancing has grown to be recognized as a very popular form of exercise and even a competitive dance genre.

“Pole dancing, just like ballroom dancing, is good for your heart rate and oxygen capacity,” explains Wendy. “It also helps your balance and coordination. And one of the greatest benefits is the way expertise in this or any dance style builds confidence and self esteem. Ladies walk taller and achieve more of their goals because of the positive outlook that comes from this additional self confidence.”

chippendaleGeorge is championing the new men’s training for Chippendale-style dancing. With years of Latin dance training and performance behind him, he knows the confidence-building power of having a shirt half open while dancing. Boasting a frequently-mentioned body that’s 160 lbs of pure muscle, George has what it takes to show men of all ages how to move their bodies for maximum visual appeal.

“Anyone who watches Dancing With the Stars is familiar with today’s masculine trend towards shirtless dancing,” explains George. “It’s just natural to extend this opportunity to the male dancers in Delta so that they can wow their partners with the right moves.”

Mastering this dance form makes men more confident, builds their abs and core and helps them recognize their built-in ability to attract a partner with just body movement — especially the hips. “The right moves can make you irresistible,” says George.

Naturally, both of these new programs launch today, since it is April Fool’s Day.
